Dr. Shashi Bajaj Mukherjee

Presently working as Assistant Professor of Mathematics in the department of Basic Science and Humanities, Dr. B.C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur.

She has completed her Bachelors from Burdwan University, Masters and PhD from Jadavpur University. She has done a one year Post doc from IISC Bangalore in the year 2017.

She has altogether 16 years of teaching and 7 years of research experience with teaching. She got the Young Scientist award in the year 2010. She published her research papers in reputed peer reviewed international, national journals, and also attended several International and National conferences and published her research works in the conference proceedings. Her present research interests are Bio-Statistics, Soft Computing and Numerical Simulation. She is enlisted as a Registered PhD guide in MAKAUT.

She is a lifetime member of ORSI DURGAPUR chapter and other organizations.

Apart from this, she has successfully completed her role as a Translator and recently associated as a Validator for SWAYAM Course in AICTE.
