Dr. Amartya Neogi

Dr. Amartya Neogi is an Associate Professor at Dr. B.C. Roy Academy of Professional Courses (BCRAPC), Durgapur in the department of Computer Applications. He has 22+ years total teaching and research experience in different Colleges in West Bengal. Moreover, he has 1 year of Industry experience at Britannia Industries Ltd, Kolkata as System Trainee. He has served as paper setter/syllabus moderator/Head Examiner/Examiner many times under MAKAUT. He received his Ph.D degree from Burdwan University in Computer Science in 2013. He has published 35 research papers in leading national/internal journals and Conferences. His research interests include Soft computing, Data mining, Blockchain Technology, Data Science, Data Analytics etc. He has published several Book chapters from IGI Global (USA). He has attended many workshops/programs from leading Institutions like IIT KGP, JNU, IIT-ISM, IIT- Guwahati, NIT, BIT-Meshra, Jadavpur University, IIEST, Vellor Institute of Technology etc. He is a life member of Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. He has served as resource person for Workshop and Webinar in related areas of Data mining at many Technical Institutes in West Bengal. He is a regular reviewer of leading Journals and Conferences. He is also serving as external experts of few Private Universities in West Bengal.

Besides Associate Professor of Computer Applications, he is serving as MOOCS SPOC, Library Chairman of BCRECAPC, R&D member of the current Institution, Portal Head of Health Science departments of BCRECAPC.
